As you can see went 3-2 only because I stupidly tried to hedge the Miami game with a losing bet so I had to make that up by betting the ML on Arizona. No more of that shit and no more teasers. I'm betting all the games I want and either taking MLs or spreads.
With that here are my 11 picks:
CBB:
Eastern Illinois @ Purdue (-14.5): Purdue has been crushing it lately averaging 88 points a game and .510 shooting wining their first 3 games. They host the Panthers who's only real competition, a decent Northwestern team blew them out by almost 20. Look for a similar result here.
Miami Ohio @ Xavier (-15.5): The Musketeers should be in the top 25 as they are 3-0 with a solid win against Tennessee. They share the ball nicely, 15 assists a game and are shooting .513. The Red Hawks have issues scoring and defending getting crushed by ASU last game. Xavier has the guards and the scoring to blow this team out.
Northwestern (-3.5) @ UIC: This really isn't that far of a trip for the Wildcats and UIC is pretty bad. Let's put it this way. UIC was beat by Eastern Illinois. Northwestern beat Eastern Illinois. Look for the Wildcats to snap their two game losing streak tonight.
NBA:
Pacers @ Knicks UNDER (186.5): Lowest under on the board. So far this season this has gone 8-5-1 ATS. This one involves the Pacers and the hapless Knicks. I can't imagine a lot of points being scored in this one tonight.
Pacers (-250) @ Knicks: Pacers have been dominating their opponents and the Knicks will not be able to stop Hibbert in the paint. The Pacers are on a mission to get to the Finals and they are playing like a team obsessed.
Heat (-323) @ Magic: D Wade rested last night so I'm betting he's back tonight. A Heat squad at full strength even on the road is a good bet against a young Magic team.
Trailblazers (-208) @ Bucks: I'm streaking with the Blazers! They have won 7 straight and going for 8 against the Bucks who are 2-7 and look lost on offense. They do sport 50% from three but I can't see that sustaining and they will have no answer for Aldridge.
Jazz @ Pelicans (-671): The Pelicans are the upstart team of the NBA with a good core of young players with Ryan Anderson returning gives them another scoring option. The Jazz are gawd awful with only one win and just won't be able to keep up with Anthony Davis and Co.
Rockets (+3) @ Mavericks: Superman comes to Dallas to play against the team that thinks he made a mistake for signing with Houston. The Rockets beat Dallas last time they met in Houston and I see the same thing happening tonight. The Rockets are 1st in rebounds and 2nd in scoring. Howard will be on a mission and edges out Dallas.
Memphis @ Warriors (-4.5): I didn't like this nearly as much as before I learned that Curry is out. With Curry the Warriors have a nice inside outside game but without his assists and shooting the Warriors become one-dimensional.
NHL:
Devils @ Ducks (-155): The Ducks have been on a bit of a losing streak losing their last four but they are hosting the Devils that 3-6-3 on the road with a -7 point differential. Look for the Ducks to get back on track at home tonight.
Good Luck All!
