My fellow degenerates welcome to another fun filled day of hitting 60%. Last night I went 6-4-2 to hit exactly 60%. And I must say three of those losses could have been avoided.
Notre Dame was on upset watch; I should have laid off.
W. Kentucky was favored by 6 they won but didn't cover. Not sure why I didn't take the ML on that one.
Jazz/Raptors under. It wasn't the lowest one on the board. I got greedy and paid the price.
Moving on...
NFL:
Here is a surprise...4 team teaser!
Jags @ Titans (pick'em): This is not the week the Jags get their first win. The Titans are getting it done with defense and a running game that ranks 16th in the league for yards per rush. Jags are dead last in defense and second to last in YPR.
Jags @ Titans OVER (28.5): This is where the Titans probably cover this on their own a garbage TD by the Jags in the fourth for good measure.
Cowboys @ Saints OVER (40.5): Both teams put up points. Dallas can't stop anyone much less Drew Brees and company. Look for this to cover halfway through the 3rd.
Rams @ Colts (+4): Colts are playing exceptionally well as Andrew Luck is being trusted more by his head coach. Additionally the coaching staff is looking to get Trent Richardson more involved in the passing game. This will only help the offense. The Rams play tough within their division but here the Colts are just a superior team.
Oakland @ NY Giants 1H (-4.5): I see the Raiders starting out slow since this is a 3 time-zone travel and without Run DMC their offense will struggle. The Giants are coming off a bye and will look to establish themselves early at home.
Staying with this game...
2 team teaser:
Giants pick'em OVER (36): Both teams will score as both defenses are allowing over 25 points a game.
Cowboys @ Saints (-255): Sean Payton has a ridiculous ATS record in his career coming off a loss. Something like 15-3. THE Saints this year are 4-0 ATS at home. The Cowboys might be able to match up with them score for score but not stop for stop. Plus Bob Ryan is looking for redemption against his former team.
Broncos (-274) @ Chargers: Denver is coming off a bye and should be healthy for a trip to San Diego. John fox is out of the hospital and you have to think the Broncos are dedicating this game to him.
NBA:
Spurs (-3) @ NY: The Knicks are still trying to figure things out after the loss of Tyson Chandler while the Spurs just keep doing what they do, efficient offense and good defense. The Spurs rank better than NY in eFG%, and TO ratio. Two key stats in running an efficient offense.
Pelicans (-124) @ Suns: Testing this out. The Pelicans rank higher then the Suns in offensive rebounds, free throw percentage, and TO ratio, while giving a bit on eFG%. I'm okay with this since I'm only looking for them to win.
NHL:
Canucks @ Ducks (-165): Vancouver played last night ans is traveling to a good teams home ice. The Ducks should take this one sporting a nice +19 differential and a perfect 7-0 record at home.
Keep An Eye On:
The Lowest Under: ATS: (5-2-1)
Pushed last night. Only 4 games tonight. No bet.
Fading Houston: ATS: (3-3-1)
Clippers covered like I said they would. This is starting to look promising.
Shading New Orleans: ATS (3-3)
On the road at Phoenix favored by 1.5. Jumping on this one.
Shading Detroit: ATS (3-2)
Not playing tonight.
Good Luck Everyone!
