CBB:
Lots of games tonight but I'm a little gun shy so I'm going with a 2 team parlay that is a virtual lock. I know I said I'd never do parlays again but rules were made to be broken.
Duke and Syracuse (-125). Duke is playing Alabama and is straight up better than them in positions 1-5. The Cuse is playing my nemesis Baylor...here is my chance to earn a little back on the sorry ass Bears who struggled with Dayton. Until this team starts to win on a consistent basis I will fade them.
NBA:
Lets start it off with another parlay!
Pacers and Rockets (-188): The Pacers are at Charlotte and the Bobcats will be no match for the 13-1 Pacers. The Pacers are doing everything right these days by playing good defense and with a high efficiency ramked third in PACE with 99. The Rockets are hosting the Hawks who got worked over by the Magic last night. I though that game would come down to three point shooting but rebounds were the difference as the Magic out rebounded the Hawks by 43 to 35. I wonder how many rebounds Houston will get tonight? Here is a clue they average 46 a game while Atlanta averages 40. Advantage Rockets.
76ers (+3.5) @ Magic: Orlando is coming off a win beating the Hawks on the road but the 76ers are an entirely different animal. Philly likes to run maximizing their possessions and leading the league in PACE. Orlando won't have as many scoring opportunities as Philly so the points here are a good value.
Griz @ Celtics UNDER (182.5): Here we have two teams that are really struggling to score lately. In the last three games either team has broken 90 points. Look for this trend to continue.
Lakers (+2) @ Nets: I'm not buying the Nets and I'm certainly not buying they win two in a row. The Lakers are better than the Wiz and they are certainly better than the Nets. We make our money back on the Lakers.
Heat (-8.5) @ Cavs: LBJ comes back to Cleveland to remind everyone why he left in the first place. He knows that gym and he knows where he likes to score. Heat win and cover with ease.
Heat @ Cavs OVER (196.5): The Heat are averaging over 100 points a game while the Cavs are giving up over a 100. This tells me The Heat is giving up over 90 while the Cavs are averaging 90. LBJ should make up the rest.
Bulls @ Pistons (-3): Bulls are still lost without Rose as Boozer is their go to guy. Yikes! The Pistons are playing very efficient basketball with a 95 PACE compared to the Bulls 92. More opportunities to score means more points. Piston cover the 3 easily.
Nuggets (+6.5) @ Wolves: The Nuggets have been surging lately winning their last 3 while the Wolves have lost 4 out of their last 5. I see some adjustment with the trade for Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. Denver keeps it close.
Spurs (+2.5) @ Thunder: Spurs getting points? I'm buying!
Spurs @ Thunder OVER (201.5): Both teams are averaging over 100 points and allowing over 90. Defense takes a back seat in this one as both teams score in triple digits.
Blazers (-164) @ Suns: I'm streaking in Portland!
Good Luck All!
