The reason for today's title is that a wise man once said that success is a combination of perseverance and luck. I would have to agree with this. Yesterday we didn't have luck but we always have perseverance. The overall picture still looks good as my numbers show.

NFL:
Did you know the Seahawks have scored one more point than the Saints this year? Doesn't seam like it does it. Both teams have allowed around 18 points per game and scored around 28 points per game. The difference is that Seattle likes to run the ball about 7 more times a game then the Saints, however the Saints throw the about 13 more times than the Seahawks. This is the reason why I like the Saints. Seattle maybe able to control the clock and keep Brees off the field but if they get down early they may abandon the run altogether and resort to the pass. I see the Saints focusing on stopping the run and scoring quickly to make Seattle beat them through the air. This will bode well for the Saints getting 6 points and the over. So I teased'em up.
Saints +13 and the OVER (40.5)
NBA:
Pelicans (+7.5) @ Bulls: I know the Pelicans lost Anthony Davis but they Ryan Anderson is no slouch. He is a big that can shoot the three; kind of a poor mans Kevin Love. Against better teams the Pelicans might struggle but against a Bulls team that struggles to score I don't see the Pelicans having too much trouble plus getting 7.5 points, which in my opinion is an overreaction to Davis', injury doesn't hurt.
Pelicans @ Bulls UNDER (192): This is the lowest under on the board. The pelicans do lose some scoring with Davis out and the Bulls struggle to score as well.
2 team parlay: Rockets and Spurs (-289): The Spurs and Rockets are facing inferior teams, Hawks and Jazz respectably, should win easily.
CBB:
Cal Irvine @ Cal Bears (-330): Bears should get a win at home against a good Irvine team.
Good Luck All!
