Trust is important in handicapping as well. Do you trust your analysis, feelings, and yourself? Do you trust the teams you bet on? Do you trust me, or anyone else for that matter that says they know who to pick?
For me I need to trust the teams I'm picking. Yesterday was a great example. Of the 7 teams I picked I only trusted 5 of them to win. No surprise the 5 teams that I trusted won. As handicappers we need to keep this in mind when we back a team.
With that let's get 60!

CBB:
Texas @ North Carolina (-10.5): Texas' record looks nice at 9-1 but who have they really played? Nobody, in fact the only decent team they played, BYU, they lost. Now look at the Tarheels, they have played and beat Louisville, Michigan State, and Kentucky. All Final Four teams. Who do you trust at home giving 10.5?
W. Michigan @ Drake (-276): I trust that my analysis was correct on W. Michigan. They are a high school team. Drake will not come out flat as Missouri did and get the win at home.
NBA:
Bobcats @ Raptors UNDER (191): For one both of these teams aren't very good. Secondly both of these teams are allowing and scoring around 90 points a game. Finally the last two games these two played each other the score was 87-95 and 90-92.
Kings @ Hawks UNDER (204.5): Atlanta is allowing and scoring around 100 PPG the Kings are only scoring 99 PPG while allowing 101. I know these numbers are pushing the total to 200 but Atlanta is playing better defense at home allowing 97 PPG in their last 5 and the Kings are only scoring 98 PPG on the road in their last 5. Finally the Kings are coming off of a game they lost last night, so look for them to be a bit sluggish. All of this is adding up to a total under 204.
Wizards (+5) @ Nets: This comes down to trust. I don't trust the Nets to be able to keep up with so many weapons the Wiz have now that Bradly Beal is back and Webster is hitting from downtown. Wall is a monster and Gortat is getting it done down low. Look for the Wiz to win outright.
Bulls @ Rockets (-8): The Rockets just have way too much firepower for the Bulls to handle. Howard will dominate down low and James Harden will run circles around Butler and Deng. The Bulls are in a world of hurt right now and will get blown out on the road.
Good Luck All!
