I've approached the last few days as if I was under siege, doing battle against the books and the market. I've come to realize that this is the way to handicap. This is how one needs to approach it if they want to succeed. We are at war with the bookies and the sports betting market as a whole and one must make strong solid moves to win.

CBB:
Iowa St (-125) @ West Virginia: Hopefully the home dog won't bite me in this one. The Cyclones are crazy talented and I don't see WV pulling off the win even at home.
Maryland @ Virginia (-682): Not really going out on a limb here but 11 was too much for me to give so went with the ML for some extra juice. We all know how good Virginia's defense is and I see Maryland looking ahead a bit playing Duke in their next game. I'd lean giving 11 but just cant pull the trigger.
NBA:
Pelicans @ Raptors (-304): Toronto is playing well and they are at home playing good defense ranked 4th in the NBA. The Pelicans struggle to score at times averaging 99 PPG and playing the second game of a back-to-back.
