I'm starting to keep track of my true balances as you can see below. Last week's winning percentage looks pretty but not a lot of units to show for it. I will need to find a better balance of ML and spread picks to increase the bottom line and tonight I hope I did.
Lets Get 60!
CBB:
Notre Dame @ North Carolina (-10): The Irish are pretty much done this year. They lost their last home game on Saturday to Pitt in overtime and now they have to travel to Carolina. I doubt anyone on that team want to play this game and just wants their disappointing season to be over. The Tarheels on the other hand are playing very good basketball and have an opportunity to get a nice win for their home crowd before traveling to Duke on Saturday. This is classic scenario of two teams heading in opposite directions. Tarheels with the blow out.
Kansas St (+9) @ Oklahoma St.: The Cowboys are coming off an emotional win beating Kansas Saturday night. They now have to turn around and face a Kansas St team that is a very good defensive team allowing 64 PPG. I see the Cowboys coming out flat and Kansas St takes advantage and might even pull the victory.
NC St (+11.5) @ Pitt: The Panthers had to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat Saturday beating Notre Dame in OT. Now they welcome an NC St team that is good enough to hang with the top teams in the ACC. I can't see Pitt getting up for this game as the ACC is a wrap and regardless of what happens in their next two games they are in the Tourney. Pitt does not blow teams out and are awful ATS as a favorite (9-15) and worse as a home favorite (3-11). If NC St can play like they played North Carolina twice and Syracuse they will cover.
NBA:
Grizzles (-1.5) @ Wizards: Memphis has the defense and the ability to impose their will on teams. The Wizards don't play any defense and don't seem comfortable playing in a slow half-court type of game. Memphis rides Gasol and their defense to victory.
Bulls (+3.5) @ Nets: The Bulls are playing hot right now and should be able to beat up on the aging Nets. I love the strategy of getting Noah the ball at the top of the key and letting him find open guys...how do you defend that?
Wolves (-229) @ Nuggets: Denver is a mess right now while the Wolves have a playoff spot to play for. Kevin Love does his thing and the Wolves win a close one.
Good Luck All!
