MLB:
Rays (-114) @ Orioles: This one comes down to trust. I trust Chris Archer for the Rays a whole lot more than I do Chen for Baltimore. Not only that Archer has a 1.38 ERA this season versus Chen's 6.75 ERA. Even though Baltimore has the slightly better offense Archer should be able to keep them from scoring until the Rays bats get to Chen.
Nats (-138) @ Marlins: I'm taking Zimmerman here on the hopes that he bounces back from his last horrible start and puts in a quality start. He certainly has the talent to do so. Hand for Miami just isn't that good who didn't make it past the third inning last time out.
Pirates @ Reds (-125): Until I hear that there is an injury to the Red's starter Bailey I'm going to continue to ride him. He's got the talent he's just starting slow. We all know how bad Way-Rod is for the Pirates.
Cards @ Brewers (-115): Garza is on the mound for the streaking Brewers; Lynn for the Cards. The Cards are good but only as good as their pitching...
A's (-115) @ Angles: The A's are starting Chavez who has been brilliant in his last two starts sporting a 1.38 ERA. Santiago for the Angles has been the opposite of brilliant sporting a 7.71 ERA. If Chavez can navigate around Trout then the A's should get the win.
Rockies @ Padres OVER (7): I know the Padres play in a pitcher friendly park but the Rockies offense is one of the best. They are 2nd in runs, 1st in batting average, 3rd in on base percentage, and 1st in slugging. We do have decent pitchers on the mound for both teams but I don't see both of them pitching well and my guess is the the Rockies cover the over on their own.
Good Luck All!
