I know I said I wasn't going to bet the NBA anymore but after last nights win by Miami we have an interesting situation which I think we can profit from.
The Heat have three games left, Hawks, Wizards, 76ers.
The Pacers have two games left, Thunder and Magic.
Now if they both win out then the Heat have the top seed come playoffs, but if the Heat lose one game and the Pacers win out then the Pacers have the top spot. Both teams can easily win out. Clearly the Heat are better then the Hawks, Wizards, and the 76ers. The Thunder will most likely not play their starters since they can no longer get the top seed in the west and the Pacers are clearly better then the Magic, at least on paper. So the Pacers have a very good shot to win out.
This is what I'm thinking. The Heat are going to play as hard as they can to keep the top spot with three very winable games. The Pacers are going to play as hard as they can to reclaim the top spot in case the Heat stumble. So take both teams to win until one loses.
Take the Heat tonight, if they win it's gravy if they lose make it back on the Pacers tomorrow. If they both win take them again in their next games.
