Today's Line - Setting the Tone

Well the Cubs game yesterday set the tone for the night. The Cubs bullpen gave up 5 runs in the 9th and lost in true Cubs fashion on Wrigley Field's 100th anniversary. This was certainly foreshadowing as the Spurs were shocked at home by getting blown out by Dallas; something that rarely happens.

As you can see 3-3 last night with a bit of a loss but today is a new day and I'm confident of the plays I have for today so Let's Get 60!

NBA:

Pacers (-2) @ Hawks: Pacers have gotten their mojo back and have the blueprint on beating the Hawks. They go up 2-1 tonight.

MLB:

Reds (-115) @ Pirates: The Pirates are starting Cumpton today who is making his major league debut. The Reds have Cingrani who has a favorable matchup at PNC park. I think the Reds get to Cumpton before the Bucs get to Cingrani.

White Sox @ Tigers (-210): Scherzer is on the mound for the Tigers and is looking to build on his 9K 1 earned run effort against LA. 

Cards (-140) @ Mets: Historically Lynn has done very well in April and this is his last start in April. Colon for the Mets just isn't trustworthy enough to make me layoff.

Twins @ Rays OVER (8.5): Two pitchers who have ERA's over 6.

Padres @ Nats (-168): Zimmerman on the mound for the Nats is looking to build on his last two stellar starts versus a offensively challenged San Diego team. Not only that but how much confidence does anyone have in Stults who can't seem to string two good starts together. If this trend stays then Stults is due for a clunker.

Phillies @ Dodgers (-167): Haren is on the mound for the Dodgers sporting a sparkling 2.16 ERA versus a punchless Philly team with Kendrick on the mound who hasn't had a win yet this year.
