David Price had been virtually unhitable before last nights game. He gives up 6 in the 1st inning. The Tigers do him a solid and get 4 back in the bottom of the 1st but his dumbass gives up 2 more in the 2nd and gets the hook.
The Red Sox bullpen allows 3 runs in the 6th and 2 runs in the 7th including letting a guy that has hit 2 home runs in his career belt his third.
James Shields and the Padres give up three runs after the 2nd, but take the lead in the 7th, only to give up the tie in the 8th and the winning run in the 9th. I thought the Padres bullpen was supposed to be one of the best in the league.
Finally the Spurs did win however I talked myself out of taking them in the first quarter and the first half. Sure would have been nice to have those to plays back to cover the damage of the idiot pitchers mentioned above.
Moving forward I must have a short memory and realize that we are at war with luck and we must show heart and attack soft numbers.
Got a couple of early games which will dictate how the later plays go...
