5-3 with a $0.98 profit is good but I have a long way to go. I'm going to set three goals for the rest of the week so here we go.
Goal 1: Get back to even.
How do I get there: Win $1.30
Goal 2: Grow balance to $34.60
How do I get there: Win $3.26
Goal 3: Grow balance to $35.90
How do I get there: Win $4.56
Lofty? Maybe. Achievable? YES!
My early play is an over on a game that features two pitchers that have no lived up to their expectations. I like this over mainly because of this reason. I expect at least one of them to continue to give up runs. Secondly the Braves are in the top 10 for .OBP, have the 5th lowest strikeout rate, and the worst bullpen. The Padres are 6th in the league in runs scored. All of these factors should add up to 8 runs.
The second pick is on Texas who has a pitcher that has had two excellent starts. Texas has a 20-13 road record as Oakland is 10-18 at home. Plus Oakland is historically awful in day games. Finally Oakland has the second worst bullpen in the league so if the Rangers can get Kaz out early they have a great chance to win. Finally the Rangers are juiced at +153
