Today's Line - Big Step Backwards

What can I say? 8-14 is bad and bad luck. With late touchdowns ruining spread after spread at one point last night I threw up...my hands. Today I hope to bounce back. A lesson I forgot...never back a road favorite that's more than a touchdown.

2 team teaser: Pats (-3) Chiefs (-3): Pats coming off a bye and the Chiefs playing the pitiful Bears at home. Enough said.

Skins at Falcons (-7): Can lighting strike twice? I sure hope not. The Skins showed some mettle last week driving 90 yards for the game winner against Philly last week. Difference today is that the Falcons won't leave the door open. I see them grounding and pounding then going over the top to JJ.

Rams (+9) at Packers: Rams showed they can hang with anyone, their money in divisional games as we saw twice already this year so we know they can play. Pack at home is tough so the win may be out of reach but a backdoor is a good possibility.

Hawks at Bengals (-3): We saw how vulnerable the Hawks are without Beast Mode and he's out again today. Bengals have a better offense and defense then the Lions and they are playing at home.

Bills at Titans (ML): No Shady, no Williams, I just can't see the Bills being able to do a lot on offense. I see a low scoring game where Mariota ices it with a late drive for a wining field goal.

Cards (-3) at Lions: Cards got exposed last week but now have a taste of what real competition is. This will help as they travel to Detroit. The Lions having played Seattle on Monday are on a short week and a little banged up. Their offensive line is slow and they cannot run the ball. Cards will look to score early and often and make Stafford throw the ball 45 times...never a good option for the Lions.
