Today's Line - Early Saturday Slate

I'm out of town on the West Coast so I don't think I'll be up in time to make my plays so here we go. I know I said I was going to limit my plays and I did so to speak with 7 total. Probably too many still but I only out $0.25 on two of the ones that I did feel that strongly on.

The four teamer consist of four teams that probably should cover outright but teasing them down 13 points is always fun.

Indiana (+17) at Sparty: As I said on the right earlier this week I think Sparty is in a let down spot here after their miracle win last week. Indiana can score and getting 17 points to start the Hoosiers should be within that number the entire game.

Texas AM (+5) at Ole Miss: Both teams are desperate and the Aggies played Bama tough the entire game. Ole Miss have injury issues especially on the defensive side of the ball and that's bad news trying to defend a spread offense.

Northwestern (+7) at Nebraska: I know I've said that the Wildcats are one of the frauds of the Big 10 but the public has given up on them and they are still sound on defense. I think this number is a bit inflated for what I think will be a low scoring game.

Duke at VT (-155): Tech has their starting QB back and is healthier than last week where they almost pulled one out. Duke doesn't impress me and they are on the road. Throw the spread out the window and pay the juice for the win.

Utah at USC (-169): The public is on Utah getting points against a 3-3 team. Somebody knows something that I don't so I'm taking the Trojans to win at home.

Kentucky (+12) at Miss St.: This is a gamble for sure but 12 points is a lot for a team that has underachieved all year. The Bulldogs have feasted on cupcakes the last two weeks and have Bama looming. May not be a look ahead spot but I can't believe they will be terribly focused either.
