Today's Line - What a Saturday!

Seems like there is always a Saturday in October where a bunch of highly ranked teams lose, and this year it came on the first Saturday of October. Luckily I was ahead of it and went 7-4 with a profit of $0.92. It could have been more since i put so much on Mississippi but when I made that play I said to myself I'd gladly pay $0.68 to see the Gators win. Next time I'll just leave a game like that alone!

Today we have some decent match-ups in the NFL including the Jets which I tweeted about 5 minutes before kickoff. Jets are sneaky good and defense always travels well.

Panthers (-3) at Bucs: Not a huge fan of laying points on the road but the Bucs are a pretty bad football team. I don't see the offense being able to do much against an under rated front 7. Cam should have a good day.

Eagles (-3) at Skins: Cousins is a turnover machine which should be the difference in this one. Bradford will struggle at times against a very good Washington defense but the offense is so poor it won't matter.

Browns at Chargers (-6): This line finally moved under a touchdown and is currently at 5. Not sure why this is since most of the public is on the Chargers. This might be a square play but the Chargers are a better football team playing at home favored by less than a TD. What's not to like?

Vikings (+7) at Broncos: I see this as a defensive struggle with both teams trying to run the ball. Denver is 3-0  but is doing it with smoke and mirrors. The 7 points is huge since like the Panthers/Bucs game we are playing for the push and looking to get lucky.

Packers (-7) at 49ers: Here we have another line that moved with the public. Again this might be a square play but like the other two plays on key numbers I'm playing for the push and looking to get lucky.

Looking at the over on the Sunday night game but not ready to pull the trigger just yet...
