Today's Line - Moving Day

2-0 last night on the ice which makes for a pretty good week. The strategy of less is more is working because as I said before I'm not good enough yet to pick five, seven, or ten games and expect to go 60%. But I can run into a fastball or two!

Big day in CFB as Clemson defends their number one ranking and we have an elimination game in Tuscaloosa. IMO the playoff committee took the easy way out by ranking both Alabama and LSU in the top four knowing full well they play this week. No one went out on a limb as these rankings are just for ratings at this point.

My top 4?

1.Ohio St; until they lose you have to keep them here
2. Clemson; on paper they have the best team
3. LSU; any undefeated team out of the SEC has to be in the top 4
4. TCU; nice out of conference win against Minny and they blowd out Texas. Plus they might have the best QB in the country.

One game today on the four teamer. We need Stanford to cover 3 to get us to the Pats -1 on Sunday.

I have another 4 teamer for today that includes Louisville, Sparty, the over in the TCU/Oky ST game and the Cincy/Houston game.

For sides I like FSU as this game is too big for a double-digit spread. FSU will come out focused and ready to play where I think Clemson comes out a bit tight and let's this game get into the fourth quarter where it will be a one possession game. I'd be shocked if this was a blow out, unless it's FSU blowing Clemson out.

Middle  Tennessee St is a consensus pick by the "experts" with RLM. 70% of the bets are on Marshall but the spread moved from Marshall +1 to +3. That tells me there is some heavy sharp action on Middle Tennessee and Vegas needs more money on Marshall.

Finally as I said on the right there that there was no value in the Bama game, well it's at that key number of 7 now so I took LSU. I see this game coming down to the last drive in the 4th quarter and who knows maybe a fake field goal by the Mad Hatter for the win?
