Three takes...
I'm totally fine with players sitting out of their bowl games. These players have given their universities three, four, sometimes five years of their life for a shot at the NFL all the while making a ton of money for their school. Now they want to sit out and not risk injury? Fine by me...it's their right to do so.
The Cavs are in a bad spot right now losing JR Smith. He brings a defensive presence to the court and spreads out the opponent's defense by the threat of the 3 pointer. Not feeling the Cavs right now.
Iowa's McCaffery is not a leader of men and should really think about his decision not letting his players shake the hands of their opponents just because one of his players got the ball stolen late in the game. McCaffery showed what an ass he is last year about downplaying the fact that one of his players poked the eye of three different opponents now his true colors are showing again.
...and I'm out.
