Was Bret Musburger drunk again last night? His rant about Mixon was just embarrassing. Can you imagine if he and Phil Sims called a game? OUCH!
I don't think Penn St's performance did anything to change the playoff selections. They were getting destroyed by USC and then got back in the game thanks to a couple of costly turnovers by USC. Then USC continued to dominate Penn St's defense to get the win. Regardless of Ohio St's performance I think the committee got it right, just maybe the seedings were a bit off. Would have been great to make Bama beat OSU and Clemosn!
I think the 49ers were a bit hasty firing Chip Kelly after just one year. When you bring in a new coach you at least have to give him 2 years to show improvement. Kelly didn't even get a draft class to work with plus he had to deal with all the distractions that Kappy brought.
