UFC 214 is the most stacked card of the year! It features three championship fights: light heavyweight (205 lbs), welterweight (170 lbs), and women's featherweight (145 lbs.)
Daniel Cormier versus Jon Jones
The main event for UFC 214 is a rematch between former Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones and current Champion, Daniel Cormier. This is probably the most anticipated fight of the year. Jones is arguably undefeated, having only lost once by being disqualified for knocking out his opponent with illegal 12 to 6 elbow strikes. Cormier has only lost once, and that was to Jones, who was stripped of the title for reprehensible personal behaviors outside of the sport.

Tyron Woodley versus Demian Maia
The co-main event has Tyron Woodley, the current Welterweight Champion, facing the challenger, Demian Maia. Woodley is a very hard striker and accomplished wrestler. Maia is the best Brazilian Jujitsu-based fighter in MMA who has worked very hard, submitting one fighter after another like a hungry boa constrictor at a buffet, to finally earn this title shot.

This 145 lb. weight division was created in the UFC for Cyborg and barring some strange occurrence, she is finally going to claim it.
