I have all my weekend plays posted below with the exception of one which is the first half money line on Sparty. I think Iowa comes out flat after losing a tough one last week and Sparty looks to forget last week ASAP.
Some rationale...
ML Parlay Utah St and San Diego St: When I saw the line for Utah St at +3 early in the week I waited thinking it would go up but the value got sucked away and from what I hear all the sharps are on Utah St. Secondly BYU is awful this year coming off 3 consecutive losses. Utah St has lost to BYU the last 2 years but is 26-6 in there last 32 at home. San Diego St should take care of N. Illinois who played above their heads at Nebraska. Look for them to return to earth on the road.
USC/WSU OVER 65 and 60.5: I got this number (65) at the worst possible time but bought some more at (60.5). Hopefully one of these hits so I can just drink some juice. USC is banged up and WSU is getting them at the best possible spot. WSU is only going to win if they turn this into a shootout which Mike Leech can do. I see a lot of points in a crazy atmosphere.
USF -24 and 20.5: I bought more at 20.5 because the spread fell through another key number. E. Carolina is really really bad coming off a win and now has to host USF in an early kickoff.
Vandy +9: This is a ton of points to ask the Gators to cover after two emotional wins in a row. Plus Vandy is better than they showed last week.
NC/GT OVER 58.5: The last 5 years these teams have score over 50 points. Even though NC sees them every year the triple option is still hard to defend.
FSU -7: Look for FSU to play much better against a team that is less talented than NCSt.
W. Michigan -14: Ball St is terrible and WMU still has it's core from last years team. Talent wins out at home.
Oky St -9.5: Last weeks loss was good for them and the coaches have their attention. Look for another shootout but TT won't be able to keep up all game.
VT 1H +4: The Hookies keep it close for a half playing on emotion if nothing else.
Bama -28: Bama at home under the lights coming off a blowout...their offense is legit and cannot be stopped.
Cal/Oregon OVER 67.5: Two teams that score and don't play defense. "Big 12 after dark".
In the NFL...
Pats -9: I had this line at 10 so there is value here coming in under two scores. Cam is beat up and they lost their best weapon in Olsen. Pats can defend the run and dare Cam to throw it.
Titans -1.5: Big game for Tennessee getting Houston at the right time coming off that gut punch of a loss to the Pats.
Bengals -3: I had this at -6 so i'm getting value on a team that showed life and needs a divisional win badly.
Jets +3: Had this one pegged at 3 but my NFL system has the Jets as a favorite. Jax is smoke and mirrors right now.
Ravens +3: Love the underdog at home in a divisional game where the score is always close. Ravens not as bad as last week but the Steelers woes on the road is real.
Bills +8: I had this at 4 so 8 is great! Atlanta has been getting lucky and the Bills play hard as we saw last week. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if they flat out won.
49ers +7: We saw how Dallas was able to get pressure with just 3 defensive lineman and the Cards are pretty much one dimensional. The 49ers have found some offense and should be able to stay balanced with Hyde. Love getting 7 where I had this at 4.
Colts +13: Will certainly buy more if it continues to climb. I had this at 5 and I just don't see why this is so high. What has Seattle done to show us that they can cover 13? They are 0-3 ATS and they gave the 49ers 13.5 in week 2 and barley won. Are the Colts any worse than the 49ers? I don't think so. Seattle is no good...I've been saying this for years.
