I got away from that in the past week because I was trying to play catch up for my woes in CFB. I risked a lot on Bama and luckily got away with it. I made the same mistake with the Steelers and got burned. I know a lot of other cappers did as well. Some to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Like I said I wa leveraged pretty bad on the Steelers on ML bets, and in game betting. They made mistake after mistake and it was maddening. I remember 2 years ago I had quite a bit on the hapless Rams and they couldn't do shit and I was a total wreck. I vowed never to experience that again and I kept my promise until last week.
However when I was in the attic window of the house that was the Steelers was on fire I never got down and I never lost my shit because I knew it was just one game and there is always tomorrow. I mad a new promise never to be that leveraged again and this time I'm going to work really hard to keep it longer than 2 years.

As always you can see all my picks at CapperTek but here is the run down...
Detroit (-3): The Pistons were a clean sweep in my NBA model beating the Hornets in every category...of course they go blown out.
Raptors (-2): Toronto is the 2nd best team in the East right now until the Cavs figure it out. I expected them to play like that in Philly but they got in a deep hole in the 1Q and now are fighting their way back but came up short.
Wizards (-2) 1Q: The Wizards usually start fast and end slow. They pushed this play.
Knicks (+2.5): The Nets are not playing good basketball and even though the Knicks gave up their game against NOLA in OT they are shooting much better than the Nets. I also like the Knicks frontcourt against the Nets frontcourt. Kanter and Zing should dominate.
Warriors (-2) 1Q: Typically the Warriors start fast and win the first quarter. I don't see why they won't do the same against the Cavs who as we know are struggling right now. I expect a competitive game out of these two but not in the first quarter.
Pacers (+4): The Pacers are leading the Jazz in every category I track except one. I know the Pacers are on their second game of a B2B but they usually go over in games on no rest plus I don't think the Jazz can match up with them especially Oladipo. Love them getting 4.
FInally CP3 gets to play in LA as the Rockets (-4.5) visit the Clippers. I know players that go back to their old teams gym for the first time after leaving the team want to play well. I can only hope the rest of the team want to play well too. I also like the fact that DJ is questionable so the Clips will be short handed.
Good Luck All!
